Gulp!

I've been driving around the last couple of days with the low petrol light on. It came on Friday night, and I kept meaning to go past the garage, but was always in a rush to get to the next place.

Went to fill up late this afternoon - I think that's a new record!

Car starter motor behaving itself, but a funny idling problem. This has come and gone, but its back quite bad just now. It means you have to pull up to the lights with your right foot half on the brake and half on the accelerator, blipping the revvs to make sure you don't stall. A risky manoever revving the 911 to 3500rpm while trying to brake. I can see my foot slipping some time! Just don't drive in front of me!

Away this evening to Ballathie House Hotel, just north of Perth. We've got a couple of days away with the management team working out what we're doing next year.

Drive up in the rain was awful. Some serious floods right across the A9.

Nice dinner, followed by some whisky tasting (yeuch). Started on the cards and late night drinking. I've decided to turn in.
