The Greenway
The sun was shining today, that in itself is newsworthy, and to make the most of it I went for a walk along the cycle/footpath known as The Greenaway.
I didn't see Jane Withers who occasionally walks her dogs along there and picks fights with random strangers, especially if they're cyclists. So I had a good time pointing my HS50 at all and sundry taking photos. Both sides of the walk had a lot of lying water from the flooding, parts of the racecourse looking like an African watering hole, especially when this huge flock of gulls took flight like flamingoes (well actually they looked like gulls as they weren't pink, but you know, poetic licence ).
I have no idea why there was a fire, maybe it was to keep the birds warm.
