Nature's Window

I was dreading staying in the house all day working on homework, so I decided to take a field trip up the mountain to work on some photography assignments. Upon the way, this circular mound of snow was the result of an 'avalanche' and had a nice viewfinder in the middle of it. So I decided to march through the snow, and proceeded to take this picture. Unfortunately, my socks and shoes were then quite wet, and when I unexpectedly met a friend up at the ski trials, and went for a bit of a cross country excursion, they were freezing! Luckily I made it back okay and am ready to go again tomorrow if the snow holds up. Great time!
