Sleepless in suburbia

Summer is particularly difficult for those who work nights, after barely sleeping for 2 days, I had to share the fruits of other people's labour. I took up residency somewhere else today after the excavation outside my bedroom window (more to come on that), only to discover that these trees need chopped, sawed, pruned, pulled, pushed, dragged and dumped... and a conversation was needed about every step of the process. What you can't see is the corrugated iron someone was shaping to replace a fence.

Really beautiful day to be in the garden, I can't fault anyone for being out on a day like this!
