VOC Amsterdam

A wreck buried in the sand near Hastings, sank in 1749 and usually shows more than this. The square section is a protective cofferdam, the blob in the middle is the prow that is all that shows after the winter storms. Apparently there was much more timber showing a few months ago.
Worth a second visit in the summer perhaps.
