Canada goose

We enjoyed a beautiful walk at Rowe Woods this afternoon. The breezy days we have had the last week have brought most of the leaves down now - just the odd tree here and there still has leaves. The paths were hard to distinguish at times from the rest of the forest floor - the whole was just carpeted in leaves. Fortunately I had chosen to put my proper walking shoes on, as the path was really muddy in places. There was quite a flock of Canada geese on the lake, and this one posed quite nicely for me!
