Pass, Punt and Kick

Tyler participated in his first ever competition today at the high school football field. Totally low key, family affair but he was still nervous and very serious! We tried talking about the reason we were participating was for fun, but he just couldn't help himself! He kept asking what would happen if he fell on his head after he kicked it... or if he kicked it backwards. But, he participated without any hesitation and we were so proud of him!

The first thing he said when he was done was, "Dad, I didn't win a trophy!" Poor kid! But, we reminded him how much fun we had and then engaged in a family game of football.. He'll probably remember the fun of our family football game more than he will the actual competition!
