GONE IN THE BLINK OF AN EYE
One challenge I can’t seem to accomplish is getting a good image of a nuthatch or a chickadee. They move so quickly that I can’t seem to locate them in the viewfinder and focus before they flit on to another spot or leave altogether. This nuthatch isn’t as sleek as they usually seem to be – maybe he’s puffed up due to the cold, but I was happy to get him even if he is a bit rumpled. Within a nanosecond of this shot, he flew off.
This picture is about as grey as our entire day appeared. The sunshine from yesterday really lifted the spirits – bring on more sunshine!
