Lego!

A lego party for twelve 6 year olds complete with lego skittles, make your own marshmallow lego heads and a lego racers challenge, followed by a lego themed snack lunch and a giant minifigure cake and we are done.

Birthday season finished for another year.

Post party my mum held the fort while my lovely husband and I walked my mother in law to the train station and then headed on to the pub for a swift half. Indeed the drink was swifter than we anticipated and we had to leave after two mouthfuls when we got a call from home saying that the party boy had a lego head (keeping with the theme) stuck up his nose.

As it turns out it was a Jelly bean and we managed to coax it out. All was well and a trip to A&E was avoided.
