Cardinals and Chipmunks

We had two unexpected visitors to the front garden today! A bright and cheery male Cardinal came by for a quick visit for some seeds and looking down under the patio table was Chippy! Looks like he woke up from his winter nap and came out to gather a few more seeds and nuts.Was surprised to see him, knowing he had to get through a fair bit of snow and ice! The picture of Chippy did not turn out as well as I would have liked so I will try to get another capture of him soon!
