Waiting on Mum

You're a bit early Wee man!

Baxter gave us another little scare today, he was vomiting this morning and having trouble walking, his back legs were weak and he was wobbling on his feet.

They are the symptoms of a paralysis tick (which unfortunately are fairly common here in the warmer months and can be deadly) So it was off to the 24 vets this morning at 5am. The vet gave him a good look over and by this point the vomiting had stopped and he was walking fine........thank god!

So we think he was just attention seeking and wanted me to take the day off work to keep an eye on him ( the vet suggested this)......well he got his way! Wee bugger!

As he is our only child we may overact sometimes but better safe than sorry is suppose!
