Midnight Sun
It's nearly Summer Solstice. Tomorrow will be the longest day for us.
I had planned to get an image of the midnight sun tomorrow for the solstice but I was interrupted from my blip review this evening by a deep yellow/orange sunset. So I ran down to the port to watch.
It was around midnight when I finally got there, the sun was already below the horizon. There was a good sized thunderstorm coming in from the east. There was even lightning, a rare event for us. Several people were also down by the port watching the midnight sunset being engulfed by the oncoming storm.
As you already know, that is Mount Susitna, the Sleeping Lady.
