Every week taking Alice to Guides becomes a game of can we get there before the level crossing is closed for the 7pm train to Edinburgh.

Tonight was one of those instances when we were caught and had to wait the extra 10 minutes for this as well as the local chugger train to go past.

Still we got there before the leaders, not that that is anything unusual.
