Duck Pond

A short circuit out of town and the road passes the Duck Pond. Well known in these parts, there have been ducks here for as long as anyone can remember.

In a countryside that is forever changing the ducks appear to be the one constant.

It is a real wonder their plumage remains pristine white in the muddy environment around the farm.
