Cake has a lot to answer for

18 years ago today, while at University, i was an organiser of a pub treasure hunt. It also happened to be one of my best friend's 21st birthdays, so I took along a cake.

Feeding a swarm of students a small birthday cake is never going to result in anyone getting a large slice. yet this arrogant Scots bloke I had never seen before kept whining about the size of his piece.

Somehow within a week the annoying man in question had persuaded me to go out with him and 18 years later , one wedding, two kids, here we are.

And every 5th Feb he STILL moans about cake.

So here you are, dear. Have a cake.
