How.....?

How does this seagull stand without falling over in the terrifically high winds. I took this from the car as it was so windy I couldn't have stood still and I am not small! Just love the rolling sea in this blip. More flooding and trees down today. Really bad storm last night. Not looking good for ferry on Friday!!
