Crunchy, frosty leaves
I went to bed last night with the intention of getting up a bit earlier, so that I could walk to work. Partly to make up for last week when I drove every day and partly to try and rid the excesses of the weekend.
Anyway - it nearly went to pot, because I seriously didn't want to remove myself from beneath my doubled-up duvet this morning. The winter part got attached to the lighter togged summer section last night and I was snug as a bug. Fortunately, I woke ahead of my alarm, so rewarded myself a snooze or two while the sun came up and then was up in a spritely fashion. Croc boots, hat, scarf, gloves and the duvet coat were donned for the very pleasant and energising 20-25 minute walk to work. I cut across a park to cut out a busy road junction and took some pics along the way. Not a bad start to the week.
