A Fine Man!

Many blippers of a certain age will remember this Scottish musician .......Jimmy Shand. Along with his band he had many folk dancing to the music! Great fun!

This statue is in the village of Auchtermuchty (love that name!!) in Fife where he lived most of his life, as a wee girl during the summer school holidays I used to stay with family in the village, today I was back having lunch with the family, brought back lots of wonderful memories!!

This statue is by David Annand, first time I've seen it, it is a very good likeness!
We've been fortunate here, missed much of the storm that's been raging on the west of the UK again, thoughts are with everyone who is being battered time and time again!! Take care on and all!
