Conversion

When our house was originally converted from a stable, this is where the front door was situated. Then the owners before us re-sited the front door and turned the old one into this pretty display cabinet. I have enjoyed collecting pieces of coloured glassware and displaying old glasses that I have inherited.

No chance of an outdoor blip today. Although we have had nothing like the dreadful West Country storms, we have had strong wind and rain ever since last evening. The rivers are rising again, and the lake in the bottom of our marl pit is apparently now over twelve feet deep.
