Cervical Spine Surgery Again
He removed the C6/7 disk in 2012. That looks good.
Now the C5/6 has gotten worse and is causing pain through the shoulder and arm. It is also making my left arm and wrist extremely weak.
The C4/5 was already deteriorating. That hasn't gotten worse but as long as he's in there he'll remove that disk, too.
He said he doesn't do fusions because there's a 10-20% chance of repeat surgery. He leaves the open spaces when he removes the disks because there is only a 1-2% chance of repeat surgery.
WHY am I always the one to beat the odds?
