What larks!

We played with this working model as children. Gunpowder extracted from crackers down the muzzle and a little in the touch-hole. A pencil or other projectile in after the gunpowder. A match to the touch-hole. An expectant wait.... and Nothing!! We were never able to get it to fire - probably luckily - but what fun trying!
