Lucky

Three (and any multiple of) has always been my lucky number. My brother and I were both born on the third. Three is just a magical number, whether it represents the trinity, a trio, trilogies, number of strikes, or a hat trick. There's a reason why people say "third time's a charm"!

Things took a turn for the better last night. It was nice to see him again and it wasn't even awkward. Turns out his "disappearance" had a reasonable explanation. Everything is falling together again.

Before he left for his meeting, we hugged tightly. And it felt so nice to be held in his arms again. On his way out, he turned and pointed at me and mouthed something which I didn't quite pick up. I think it was, "Thank you."

You're very welcome! I know that things are going to be different this time. But only for the better. Much, much better :)
