Orchid Blush

I’m trying not to think or bore everyone with what the weather is doing but it has been the main thought of the day. My friend J and I didn’t get to camera club last night. We set off braving the wind & rain but it was really awful and with a 40 mile round trip cross country before us decided it was just not worth the risk so we turned back a few miles down the road. We escaped the worst ravages of the storm and power cuts and our thoughts have been with all those worst affected.

The orchids had opened a little more and looked glorious in the soft morning light. A touch of magic , the delicate side of nature.
