Hunkered down

These are three of the eleven birds huddled up in a tree during the snowstorm today. Felt sorry for them, but I have the feeder and the suet box full.

Mr M went to work in spite of the 5 inches that fell during the night - said some of the roads hadn't been touched yet. I guess when school is cancelled the night before, the plows aren't in a hurry in the morning. Thankfully he arrived safely. I stayed home. Poor kitties want to go outside but they just stand in the doorway and look out, then reluctantly turn around and go back into the house. Riley, on the other hand, would spend the entire day romping in the snow.
