Red-Vented Bulbul

I was hoping the red spot under his tail would show up better.
A rainy day. Monte and I got a short walk in shortly after dawn. Later in the afternoon the four of us drove up the west coast to try for a hike but it was too wet and muddy. We watched the waves and surfers on the way back instead. We were going to get pizza's to go from the Monkey Pod restaurent but it was happy hour and the pizza's and drinks were half priced if we ate there. So we did that instead. Very good pizza.
