Travelling to a place where I had to get around on foot, and where key nodes of activity were spread very far out, and yet where I had to engage in work (as opposed to leisure), made me very grateful for the things -- e-mail; vehicles; library cataloguing systems -- that stop one from getting side-tracked. Like this lovely view, which I thought would have been better appreciated during a time of enforced carefreeness.
