NBA on ESPN HD

I watched my first ever high definition NBA game tonight on our new subscription to ESPN, recorded from Friday night. It makes a huge difference, it's almost as good as being there!

It was the Dallas Mavericks at the LA Lakers. There has been much hype about the Lakers as current champions being the team to beat this year, especially after signing Ron Artest. But they looked poor the whole game. The Mavericks unexpectedly dominated, leading almost the whole game. It was their new signing, Shaun Marion that made the difference. They built a large lead and the Lakers never really looked like coming back. The final score was 94-80.
