Young homeless man

Coming from the subway to work I frequently see this red-haired young man bedded down next to the 53rd St. subway station. I don't know yet anything about him, except that I have never seen him ask for money and he is usually gone by 9am. I was astonished and slightly horrified to see him today with the temperatures so low.
