All day in the house and I couldn't decide on a blip! There it was sitting on my desk -- looking at me - my amethyst geode. I love purple and all things purple and by now have quite a collection. I've been told that amethyst is called the "healer". This beautiful purple variety of quartz is a semiprecious stone and is the traditional birthstone for those born in February.
