Friends at Fripp

Fripp Island, SC was our destination today! Hildy, the first teacher I worked with in MSAD 54, and Donn Aldrich, have invited us many times to visit. This year we did. Delightful conversation, a golf cart trip around the island and a delicious dinner at the Beach Club filled our afternoon and evening. What fun to talk and reminisce! One of Hildy's molasses cookies completed the night. Such special people! One lady we met said they were the pillars of the community! My reply was that they were the pillars of the community in Skowhegan, also! Our loss has truly been Fripp's gain!
