Ice, freezing rain, and power outages were what we had to deal with today.
We were very fortunate to not lose power, but so many families and businesses were without power on this cold and miserable day.

I love snow, but, man, I'm getting tired of it! So many trees broke off due to heavy ice. Our school's been without power for a whole day and we are off again tomorrow.

We didn't even go outside today - too miserable to venture out. I asked Curiouscalvin to put on a manual lens to try. I think I need a lot of practice!

So looking at these colors on these orchids made me yearn for spring. I hope everyone is safe!
