A local fishing boat returning to Port Motueka.

Another beautiful sunny day. At high tide this afternoon we were back swimming at the beach near the Saltwater Baths.

Sitting on the beach after our swim, we watched family groups enjoying the Baths and this fishing boat returning with it’s catch.


Today New Zealand celebrates Waitangi Day.
Waitangi Day is a public holiday held on 6 February every year to commemorate the signing of New Zealand's founding document - the Treaty of Waitangi - in 1840.
