early riser

I am grateful our bedroom faces northeast as I can see sunrises as I pull back the curtains each day this time of year. it also means that during the summer the heat of the day is on the back of the house and our bedroom is cooler in the evening . but the kitchen faces north west which means no sun and for most of the year the lights have to be on.
