Islesburgh

A day-long, pretty dire, meeting, made slightly more bearable by being in a lovely room with a view and a fairly outstanding fireplace. From the window we watched the ferry to Aberdeen struggle out of the harbour - the ferries have been so disrupted by the bad weather, the supermarket shelves regularly resemble those of an Eastern bloc country on a particularly bad day (can you still say Eastern bloc - is it PC?). The other day you could buy swedes or grapefruit. Lovely.
