"Shade Over The Shade" ...

...Down at the sandbar this afternoon where there were lots of families swimming in the river .. I took a few shots and then .. I saw these little maggies and minors sheltering from the very hot day today..39deg..and becoming hotter tomorrow apparently..

...They're no fools are they, birds, they know where it's cooler, even though the huge trees there cast a lot of shade, but no - a little more shade is better and maybe, just perhaps maybe - there will be a few crumbs under the table there..

... They looked so hot really, but they'll survive - it'll cool down tonight and the many families who frequent this lovely sandbar will possibly bring their dinner down there in the cool under Shade of the big trees..with the little maggies and the minors who will be happy then..
