Isolating the current
It was another hot day. The grass is starting to 'crunch' up under the heat of the sun. The stoney banks in the paddocks are burning off. When you see this, you know we need some rain. It's amazing how fast things change.
This afternoon we had our farm advisor visit. It is always refreshing to speak to him to get different ideas on how to deal with different situations. One of the things we talked about today was dealing with the possibility of going into a drought, and how to deal with this situation. We put in place different strategies to deal with this, so if it does happen, then we are straight onto dealing with it, which is very reassuring.
The boys go back to school tomorrow after 7 weeks holiday. Back to the morning routine again!
