I had a really good morning - choosing photos to make cards and then printing them out ready to go into my hairdresser's waiting room tomorrow. I like having the opportunity to print pictures out - they do look nice on the monitor, but having them printed and put in little plastic envelopes ready for people to buy if they like them is quite different.
I had intended to get out on the bike during the afternoon, but it poured down straight after lunch, so I thought that was the end of that and just to get some shots taken to blip, I took some pictures of raindrops hitting the pond. I didn't really want to blip them, as blipped something similar last year, so I was really pleased when it stopped raining and I could get the bike out.
Off I went, but the light wasn't up to very much as I rode. I turned down a lane which I don't use very often, thinking I might get a view down the river to the Tamar Bridge. Sure enough, there was a gateway and the view was there. Unfortunately, the light wasn't.
However, there was a slight break in the clouds giving a little brightness on the horizon and as I watched it moved to the left - towards a stand of trees on the horizon. I waited and fortunately it reached the trees, giving me my blip for the day. I cropped it into a square format to emphasise the break in the clouds.
