My turn in the rain - again

It has been raining fairly heavily all day and two pairs of blackbirds are trying to get shelter under the leaves off the side of the steps. Every so often there is a disagreement and they chase one another from under the leaves, onto the step and back under the leaves, a version of musical chairs with no chairs, always leaving one blackbird (generally a male) on the step in the rain.
