Salcombe

The folks of Salcombe have had a hard time in the recent flooding. There's lots of sandbags everywhere, people just seem to be getting on with things.

The rain has been relentless today, although, thankfully, the wind has dropped away. We donned our waterproofs for a walk around "Snape's Point" which provided some amazing views of the estuary. The geography of all the inlets and outlets and coves is both stunning and mind boggling, even with the aid of a map.

It was a great walk and with the aid of our waterproofs, we stayed dry...ish.
