Kenilworth Road (to Gibbet Hill Road...)

I always wondered why the road leading from this road was called 'gibbet' given it's very horrific meaning. Then a British labmate told me that people in olden days were hanged in the hill that is now called Gibbet Hill Road. I am a pretty gullible person and so even when i laughed at his answer, i still believed that it was the real story.

Oh yeah, took this from the upper deck of the Number 11 bus. My favourite spot in the bus, front row seats :)
