Meet Tony (pic), he is one of the brains in our company that knows more about science than any of my teachers ever did or could teach me.

He is a Geordie, reverse engineer, football playing, genius of the nicest variety.

I don't understand much that goes on in his laboratory and the equipment he uses but he is always willing to tell me a bit of what he's working on.

It made for a great blip photo opportunity when his was playing with Fuming Nitric Acid and Hydrazine Hydrate. All I know is these chemicals are highly dangerous and do not like mixing but when they do they create a nice orange smoke when burning silicone.

These chemicals are also known as HNO3 and N2H4,H2O

Tomorrow I'm off to Budapest on a stag do, I wish I was taking my SLR but I only have hand luggage so iPhone images will have to do. The subject matter and stories should hopefully be good though.
