The reluctant subject is 'home'

Today's blip was always going to be my big brother - home from Switzerland for the weekend to attend his best friend's 50th birthday party.

Well, I say home for the weekend. Scotland hasn't been his 'home' for over 10 years. His home is Berne, Switzerland.

But, like me and everyone else I know, the sight of Dumbarton rock and the River Clyde as we descended into Inverclyde today, made him feel as if his heart was 'home'. I'm sure anyone who has settled other than in their native town may understand.

I knew he wouldn't pose for me, so I tried to be crafty with my shot. As always, I'll need to get up very early in the morning to be craftier than my big brother ❤️
