Hidden Damage

After yesterdays tree fall we went to bed quite happy. We'd removed the tree from the house, cleared the drive so's we could access the garages and looking at the damage we thought it was only a couple of tiles and a small bit of guttering that had been damaged and the phone line that had been brought down.

Then we opened the bedroom curtains and looked at the roof on the dormer window.

So no phone, no internet, but good friends that let us take over their phone and internet (thanks again). Contacted the insurance company, contacted some local roofers and contacted BT, the wheels are in motion and we're still exceedingly happy - it could have been so much worse.
