Stage Beauty

February is LGBT History Month, so we decided to show a couple of 'historic' films at the youth group over the next few weeks. I think we've done quite well having no money; borrowed some DVDs from the local university group and a projector from our landlord. I wouldn't have chosen this one but it was rather good, and featured (amongst others) Edward Fox and Richard Griffiths - forever Uncle Monty...

Had quite a mad day and so this brought me back down to earth nicely. A nightmare of public transport this morning which resulted in a £13 taxi fare (I am allergic to taxis and would usually prefer to walk over hot coals), all to obtain an injection in my backside which has made sitting down a little challenging. Then further wrestling with a microscope (which I am relieved to find others are having difficulties with too) and much frustration with some colleagues/my employer in general. On the plus side, I think the worst of the man flu is over.
