Back to the future again

After an annoying morning at work, had the afternoon off with Top Gun to do museums and coffee shops in South London. This is my big lad with one of hi s heroes, Horatio no less, in the Maritime Museum in Greenwich. Later ended up in the Royal Arsenal where his Grandfather, Great Uncle and Great Grandfather worked. Seriously nostalgic, the munitions factories where they toiled are now coffee shops and heritage centres, but mostly new housing developments for an up and coming breed of city worker and social media type who will endure South London because of its DLR connections to the better parts of the capital.

Went shopping in the west end for obscure foods and then had a very traditional meal in the Sherlock Holmes pub on Northumberland Avenue. A great day out.
