A lovely day at home together... Xxx
Now that I'm back at work, I have to admit that come Thursday morning, all I want to do is have quality time, at home with my baby girl. Not rush to get to stay and play on time. This morning's stay and play would actually have been a workshop about sleeping through, which to be honest, I don't really feel I need at the moment. Not just because she is currently sleeping through, just that I don't really mind if she doesn't and also, I don't really see how a sleep workshop would help anyway. So we stayed at home and it was lush.
Eva was such a happy girl all day, we've had such a lovely day together. Played with her toys loads, sang lots of songs (every time a song had the words 'hands' in, Eva would automatically clap her hands), had lots of cuddles and 'chats', danced around together and had lots of signing 'milk', I am now teaching her 'eat' or 'food', see how she goes.
I could not believe how long Eva slept for this afternoon. I put her down at 12.30 and went in to wake her up at 3.30pm!!! I thought she'd struggle to go off tonight, but she was in bed fast asleep by 7.40pm.
When she woke this afternoon, I sat her in her cot with her teddies and sorted her clothes out. Nearly all of her 9-12 months clothes are now added to the huge pile in our bedroom, and all of her 12-18 months clothes are hanging in her wardrobe or in her drawers. They're a little on the big side, but that's ok. I'm excited to see her in all her new little outfits :-)
My dad came round this afternoon and I took today's pic of him giving Eva a bottle. Grandad absolutely adores his little Eva xxx
