Happy birthday

Lovely 40th birthday concert for Scottish Chamber Orchestra this evening. A world premiere commissioned piece by Suckling, Maria Pires playing Chopin's Piano concerto no 2 totally brilliantly and then a barnstorming Beethoven symphony no 5 (duh duh duh daaaaaah, etc!)
Then at the end, a happy birthday arrangement and balloons floating down....
A good way to round off more long meetings and general works stuff but jolly Wagamama supper too, so overall a good day!
