Print selection
The living room isn't large enough to lay out all the prints submitted by club members for consideration for selection for the inter-club print competition being run by the East Anglian Federation of photographic clubs and societies. But we needed a lot of prints from which to choose our entry; the competition requires us to enter a total of 25 prints and we know that the standard of entries will be very high, so we need the very best photographs to represent our club.
Fortunately, the print workers in the club are skilled and talented, and we had some very strong images from which to choose, so I don't think we will be embarrased in the competition. However, I know that there are many very strong clubs in the Federation, so our chances of being selected to go through to the national competition are rather slim.
But, if you don't enter, you don't know. This is the first time the club has entered this competition, so we shall see how we get on.
