The Bed

Several months ago, we told our daughter that if she got her room tidied, we'd buy her a new bed. We duly gave away her cabin bed and thinking she would get the room tidied quickly, put the camp bed in her room. It was not enough motivation. She just kept using the camp bed.

About a month ago, she made a serious effort and sorted through the stuff and floor began to appear. Gradually, it began to look quite tidy and we reached a point where we thought we could order the bed. It arrived this morning, set up by the delivery men (a useful service - they did it in about half an hour and it would have taken us much longer) and then I made it up for her to see when she got in from work.

She was delighted and has now gone to bed. She is not working tomorrow, so I have a feeling that it will be a long time before she gets up. She now needs a bit of furniture and something to fill a bit of space on the walls. Oh - and we need to go through all the stuff she has cleared out which is filling up our son's room while he is away at university!
