Happiness is Skiing in the Streets

It seemed premature to leave Salem at 11:00 AM but my carpool mates were studying the weather maps and insisted that we high tail it out of there. And we were glad we did. The snow started getting serious as soon as we hit town and it is still snowing. When I finally went outside to investigate (after duly putting in my work hours on the computer at home) there was sledding and skiing in the streets. Neighbor Barb was going up and down the hill and I joined her. Happiness.
